Vanadium Sheet

A metal sheet is a flat material with a thickness greater than 0.5mm. The difference between foil, sheet and plate formats of metals such as Vanadium is the thickness. Foil is categorized as sheet metal with a thickness less than 0.2mm, while the ‘Sheet’ format reflects any metal ranging from 0.5mm up to 6mm in thickness.

Rolled sheets of Vanadium are used for coating and thin film Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) processes, which include Thermal and Electron Beam (E-Beam) Evaporation, Low Temperature Organic Evaporation, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Organometallic and Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) for applications such as solar energy and fuel cells.
